"I am being treated this way in your presence."

Sabet Ibn Ahmad Abul Qasem (rahmatullahi alaihe) narrates that he was once observing a muezzin calling out athan for the Fajr prayer.

As the muezzin said “Assalatu khairum minan nawm”, a khadem (usually a volunteer at a mosque) slapped the face of the muezzin. At this, the muezzin started to cry and stated: “Oh Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)! I am being treated this way in your presence.” Immediately after this, the khadem’s whole body became paralyzed. He was lifted and transported to his residence by individuals present at the mosque.

The khadem passed away three days after the incident.

"Name the book Najmussuluk."

Sheikh Ebnul Farez Homobi el Misori (rahmatullahi alaihe) was also known as Omar. He was related to the Sa’ad clan. He was also the grandfather of Haleema as-Sa'diyyah, the wet nurse of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam). Sheikh Ebnul Farez (rahmatullahi alaihe) was born in Egypt.

The collection of his poems is called “Qasidah e Nasiriya Farezia.” The collection contains some seven hundred and fifty verses.

Sheikh Farez (rahmatullahi alaihe) narrates that after the completion of the book, he was blessed with the auspicious vision of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in a dream. In the dream, Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) asked: “What name have you given to this book?” Sheikh Farez (rahmatullahi alaihe) stated: “Laoaehul Jenan.” At this, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) stated: “No. Name the book Najmussuluk.”

This book was not composed in the ordinary manner. The book which contained deep spiritual messages and insights was compiled in an extraordinary way. Sheikh Farez would (rahmatullahi alaihe) lose consciousness at times while he was composing the book. He would then compose thirty to forty verses at a stretch after he regained consciousness.

Sheikh Farez wrote down the mysteries of Hikmah and Marefat revealed to him by Allah Subhanahu Wa Tala'a. This is how this amazing book was completed.

Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri

Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri once came to the august court of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) and stated: “Oh Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)! I am your guest. Either you feed me well or I will break the chandeliers of your court.”

Precisely at this moment, an individual called Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri and gave him dates and other delicious food to eat. Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri ate to his heart’s content and satisfied his hunger.

Afterwards, the individual asked Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri: “What did you say at the Rouza-e-Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)? The Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) came here and was smiling. He (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) narrated what you have said.” At this, Sheikh Muhammed Sakheri asked the individual: “How do you know all this?”

The individual stated: “I was sleeping. I was blessed with the vision of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in a dream. In the dream, the Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) stated: “I have a guest who has a very high temper. Take him to your residence and feed him well. And tell him to change his place as this is not the place for desires.”

"Tell Hakem to arrange water for the Muslims."

Renowned Muhaddith (scholar of Hadith) Abu Abdullah Hakem (rahmatullahi alaihe) had a scar on his face. He took all available treatments without any success. One year passed by without any visible improvement of the scar.

Abu Abdullah Hakem (rahmatullahi alaihe) once asked his spiritual mentor Abu Osman Sabuni (rahmatullahi alaihe) to pray for him. It was the day of Jumu’ah. Abu Osman Sabuni (rahmatullahi alaihe) prayed for a long time and every one present said ameen in unison.

Next Friday, a woman gave a letter. It was stated in the letter that the woman prayed in earnest for Hakem (rahmatullahi alaihe). At night, the woman was blessed with the auspicious vision of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in a dream. In the dream, the Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) stated: “Tell Hakem to arrange water for the Muslims.”

After this, Hakem (rahmatullahi alaihe) made the arrangement to provide water free of cost in front of his residence.

Within one week of this arrangement, the facial scar of Abu Abdullah Hakem (rahmatullahi alaihe) was completely healed. In addition to this, his face became much more good-looking than before.
