Dream of Sher Shah Suri

Sher Shah Suri was a ruler of the Indian subcontinent in the 16th century.

Sher Shah Suri was once blessed with the auspicious vision of the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in a dream. In the dream, Sher Shah Suri saw that he was present at the august court of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam). Nasiruddin Humayun was also present at the court.

In the dream, Nasiruddin Humayun was wearing his regal tiara on his head. The Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) took the tiara from Nasiruddin Humayun and placed it on the head of Sher Shah Suri. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) stated: “Establish rule with equal justice for all.” Sher Shah Suri woke up afterwards.

After a few days, Sher Shah Suri confronted Nasiruddin Humayun in a battle. In the ensuing battle, the small army of Sher Shah Suri defeated the huge army led by Nasiruddin Humayun.

Having barely saved his life, Nasiruddin Humayun fled to Iran after losing the battle to Sher Shah Suri.
