The dream of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (rahmatullahi alaihe)

Mahbub Ilahi (the beloved of Allah) Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (rahmatullahi alaihe) had great love for the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam). In the dream, the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) called Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (rahmatullahi alaihe) and stated: “Nizam, come promptly. I am very anxious for you.”

After this dream, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (rahmatullahi alaihe) became very restless for the hereafter. He completely gave up all food and drink some forty days before his demise. His eyes would always well up with tears. On the day of his death, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia (rahmatullahi alaihe) donated all his belongings to the needy lest he is questioned about any of his belongings at the august court of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
