"I have liked this particular verse of your poem"

Sheikh Fadlullah, also known as Jamal Khan, was the spiritual successor of his uncle Maolana Samauddin Suhrwardi (rahmatullahi alaihe).

The literary name of Sheikh Fadlullah was Jamali. Sheikh Jamali was a gifted poet. He was skilled in composing literary works. He wrote a qasidah (a form of Islamic poetry) about Babur and Humayun (Muslim emperors in India). Sheikh Jamali was buried in his residence in Delhi. He passed away on 10th Dhu al-Qi'dah in 982 Hijri.

Sheikh Jamali composed a Na’at Shareef (a form of Islamic poetry) about the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam). The Na’at Shareef included the following verse:

Hazrat Musa (alaihe salaam) lost consciousness at the intensity of the light;

Oh Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)! You were able to smile from contentment even after seeing Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Sheikh Jamali was blessed with the auspicious vision of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) on the same day he composed the Na’at Shareef. In the dream, the Beloved Prophet of Allah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) stated: “Oh Jamal! I have liked this particular verse of your poem.”

Sheikh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehlawi (rahmatullahi alaihe) wrote in his book entitled “Akhbarul Akhyar” that the Beloved Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) informed some walis (saints) of the good news of the approval of this particular verse.

Allama Iqbal called this particular verse as outstanding.
